About me.

I am a writer living with my wife and daughter on a small urban homestead in Petaluma, California–in fact, my wife wrote the book on urban homesteading. I am a husband, father, writer, Jew, and nonprofit fundraising consultant who is on a multiyear plan to become a hospice chaplain, drawing on the teachings of nature awareness and rites-of-passage work. I am also a beekeeper and a general lover of animals. I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1964.

You can get a sense of my writing and thinking at my fiction blog, Ten Minutes & Counting, here.
